COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS HEALTH INSURANCE COVERED BEFORE AND AFTER VISITING THE USA OR CANADA?

India Network Health Insurance offers worldwide coverage. We recommend selecting a start date 1 day prior to arriving in the USA and 1 day after leaving the USA so that your family member has medical insurance from airport departure through airport return.

MY FAMILY MEMBERS ARE IN DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS. HOW SHOULD THEY BE ENROLLED?

Enrolling in the same policy will save 5 minutes and a $5 processing fee for the second visitor. Separate policies are required for visitors where the primary or secondary insured is age 69 and under while the other insured is age 70 plus.

I NEED LESS DAYS THAN THE MINIMAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD. WHAT DO I DO?

Visitors must enroll for the required initial time period when first enrolling. All policies electing pre existing conditions require 90 day minimum initial enrollment. If pre existing conditions are not elected, the Standard Plan requires 15 days and the Comprehensive Plan 30 days enrollment.

CAN I CANCEL AFTER INSURANCE STARTS OR CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS?

Policies can not be cancelled once the effective date occurs. If you are concerned that your family member may return prior to the planned return date, when enrolling the first time, consider selecting an end date that provides flexibility. India Network will e-mail the member a notification prior to insurance termination date. Insurance renewals take only a few minutes and can be completed from the Online Enrollment menu.

Although you can not schedule recurring monthly payments, once the initial minimal enrollment time period is met, you can go to online enrollment, select the appropriate plan, then check RENEW INSURANCE ENROLLMENT to extend the visitors medical insurance. Insurance renewals take only a few minutes and can be completed from the Online Enrollment menu.

HOW DO I CALCULATE MY INSURANCE PAYMENT?

Monthly and daily rates are provided in both the EasySelect and Programs section of the website. A monthly rates is always based on 30 days. As an example, if a visitor is traveling 3 and half months, the rate is the daily rate multiplied times 105 days (30 days in a month and 15 days in half a month)

The The Standard Plan can be used worldwide with any provider.

The The Comprehensive Plan has 80/20 coinsurance when using Multi-Plan providers and a 60/40 coinsurance when using out-of-network providers.
